I installed all new parts. Tested unit and found it to be operating normally. Job completed. ,During testing, I found an error code. F1E0-Board failure. The unit will get to temperature, but will not maintain the temperature over time. Also, oven door seal is damaged due to age. First American has approved the repair and is supplying the parts.

During inspection, I noticed that someone has been inside the unit previously. The door was not correctly put back together. Also, the metal bracket that holds the PCB and door switch has been bent to the point where it will also need replacing. The PCB shorted out and fried the board. Both door panels are bent and are missing screws as well. First American is going to replace the unit.

Installed new timer and verified operation. No further issues found. Job completed. ,During diagnostics, The unit would run, but not heat. I removed the back panel and found the heating element and all thermostats and thermal fuses good. Bad timer. ,This customer was double booked I guess. She was my last call yesterday. I’ve got “warranty ordering parts”.

customers complaint is that the dryer would not start and was throwing a TC or HC error code before it stopped working. during inspection and testing I found the customer reading around 20,000 OHM's of resistance and thermal fuse blown. thermistor is about 10,000 OHM's too high. which has led to overheating and causing the thermal fuse to blow out. replaced thermistor infused and tested dryer and everything tested out okay. Job complete
