During testing, I found that the steel base has rusted all the way through causing the suspension to “rock” (see pictures). Customer complained about the last company that was out 4 times in the last 30-days (Assist Appliance) and were not happy with their service. Also, the cycle selector switch intermittently will work. AHS is going to replace the unit due to age and cost of the repair. Job completed.

Installed new upper spray arm. Tested unit and found no further issues. During inspection, I found the lower spray arm has become unserviceable. The spray arm has deteriorated over time causing large holes. Also, the unit will not drain. Installed new drain pump and lower spray arm. I forgot to order the upper spray arm for the unit. The unit is working now, but we need to order the upper spray arm.

Installed new circulation pump and verified operation. Job completed. During testing, I found that the circulation pump has failed. Tapping on the pump will cause it to work. I believe the pump going out is what caused the PCB to fail prematurely. AHS has approved the repair and is supplying the parts.

I installed new parts on the washer (PCB) and dryer (upper bearing). Tested both units and found no further issues. Job completed. ,Dryer-The unit started making a loud banging noise after about 10-mins of Normal cycle. Found the dryer drum has started to eat into the plastic housing on the front bearing. Washer-The unit will stop intermittently during spin cycle. The customer had to push the start butting to get the unit to finish the cycle. I found the dampners are normal. Control board issue. AHS has approved both repairs and is supplying the parts.
