Maytag Washer
During diagnostics, I found the hot water inlet valve is faulty. It was also completely clogged with sediment.
Installed new inlet valve assembly and tested. No further issues found.
Job completed.
Maytag DISHWASHER
During inspection, I found that the unit was full of water on arrival. The top push handle is missing from the unit. To open the unit you have to force it open due to the missing handle. Also, the lower spray arm has contacted the heating element melting the underside of the spray arm. The drain pump will only work when you tap on it. The unit is 19-years old. First American does not want to fix the unit because of the parts and age. This unit will be replaced. Job completed.
Kenmore Oven
Installed new oven relay control board. Tested unit to 350 degrees with no issues found.
Job completed.
During testing, I found that the oven broil and bake element were good. The unit would not heat at all.
Bad Oven Control Board.
AHS has approved the repair and they are supplying the part.
GE Washer
Installed new PCB and tested the unit. No further issues found. Job completed. During testing, I found the unit was unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit in and it went immediately into drain and would not stop. Faulty PCB.
Samsung Range
During inspection, I found that most of the screws that hold the upper burner bases to the top panel, have rusted to the point I am unable to remove them without breaking them. This changes the overall estimate due to labor and extra parts that would need to be ordered. Customer is going to purchase another unit due to cost of repair. Job completed.
Whirlpool Washer
Dueing inspection, I found the transmission is leaking oil. The oil has saturated the drive belt causing the burning smell the customer is talking about.
Customer is going to purchase another unit.

Maytag WASHER
During inspection, I found the unit unplugged on arrival. As soon as I plug the unit in, the drain pump kicked on and would not cut off. I looked up underneath the unit and found the transmission has just started leaking. Due to the cost of repair, first American is going to replace this unit Job completed.
GE Washer
customer's complaint is that the washer kept throwing a door lock error code. this is a common issue with the motherboard. ordering new motherboard for customer
Installed new control board. Tested unit and found no further issues.

Samsung Refrigerator
After installing the new PCB, I plugged the unit in and it began cooling. After about 1 minute, the compressor started making a rattling noise and it kicked off. The red light on the new PCB started blinking again.
The code is start up failure again. Compressor has failed. I advised the customer to call Samsung since the unit is only 6-years old. It has a 10-year compressor warranty on it.
This will be a refund.
During testing, I found the compressor had no power going to it. I tested and found the inverter board has failed. The compressor windings tested good. The blinking red light in the board indicated a “no-start” on the compressor.
Maytag Washer
I installed the new cold water valve and verified normal operation. No further leak detected coming from the unit.

Durimg inspection, I found that water is leaking into the tub even when the unit is off. I found the cold water valve is sticking open a little allowing water to pass through.
Kenmore Range
During inspection, I found the unit was unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit up and got no power. I removed the back panel and found a pest infestation. The past have gotten all over the control boards and the PCB boards. I then inspected the top of the unit underneath and found live pests. I’m recommending replacement due to the infestation and the need to replace all the boards in the unit, which would be very costly. Spoke with the customer about the issue. He said he did not receive a text on enroute. I advise him to take care of the pest issue before buying or purchasing any other appliances, as they can get into the other units. Job completed.
Samsung Microwave
During inspection, I noticed arc marks inside the cavity of the unit. There arc “tracks” will have to be sanded and repainted before the unit can be used. Found that the high voltage capacitor and diode are faulty. AHS, is going to replace the unit. Job completed.
