GE Dishwasher
customers complaint is that the dishwasher would not drain or start. I diagnosed the issue and found the dishwasher getting power but would not come on at all. This is a common issue where the main power relay board shorts out. it will need a new board upgrade kit between display panel and power relay board.
customer had another company through their home warranty working on it. dishwasher has sat way too long and is now covered in black mold and bacteria growth. I do not recommend repair. the black mold is a health hazard for any continued use.
recommended Cash out options on repair to Home warranty.
Samsung Refrigerator
During testing, found that both compartments were warm to the touch. I removed the back panel and check power to the compressor. the power would come on and go directly off. I tested the cools on the compressor and found 12.6 ohms between all three pins. This is gonna be a bad inverter board.
Customer has decided to purchase a part himself.Job completed.
GE Washer
During inspection, I found that oil is leaking from the transmission all over the other components(see pic)
Customer is going to purchase another unit due to the cost of repair and the likely hood that this unit will break again soon.

Maytag WASHER

During diagnostics, The unit was unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit in and try to start a cycle. The unit was not responsive at all. None of the power buttons work on the panel. This unit had a PCB replaced seven months ago, along with the wiring harness. I believe the issue is gonna be the touch panel display.
First American might replace it, but wasn’t sure. They said they would get back to us..
Samsung Dryer
During testing, I found that the heating element had shorted out. I installed a new heating element and tested the unit with no further issues found.
Job completed.
Samsung Washer
another bolt came broke loose and accept this time it tore through the main tup weight support. customer now needs a new counterweight support. reporting issue to customers Home warranty. ( CUSTOMER REQUEST CASH OUT ON REPAIR )
Roper Washer
customer's complaint is that the washer would not spin during cycle. customer had motor coupler on hand. replaced motor coupler for customer and tested unit and everything tested out okay. job complete
Lg Microwave
Customer complaint is that the microwave would run but not heat. magnetron has shorted out. cost of repair is not economical. recommended replacement to customers warranty company. they should hear back within one to three business days on replacement options. Job complete
Whirlpool,Whirlpool DRYER,WASHER
customers complaint is that the washer was shaking too much and shutting off mid-cycle and the dryer was not drying properly and making too much noise.
I diagnosed the dryer and found the idler pulley seized up. provided maintenance on pulley and everything is back to normal on the dryer.
diagnosed washer and found the main tub assembly support arms falling apart and getting sucked down into the drain pump. customer will need a new tub assembly repair WPW10409997. repair is not economical. reporting to customer's warranty company and they should get a replacement option within one to three business days through email. Job complete
Kitchenaid Dishwasher
customers complaint is that they were receiving a consistent F4 E3 error code which indicates a heating problem and shuts off the heating element permanently due to the temperature not rising up fast enough.
I inspected the customers heating element and found it worped. I tested the dishwasher and diagnostics and the heating element came on however the heating element is in terrible shape.
this error code through the technician data sheet recommends replacing the turbidity sensor and if that doesn't fix it then recommends replacing the control as a last step.
due to the dishwasher almost being over 10 years old and the possible cost of the repair. customer has decided to buy a new dishwasher.
Samsung Dryer
customers complaint is that the dryer would not start.
from my understanding, Samsung dryers will not start usually due to a blown exhaust fuse or broken belt with the belt switch getting activated shutting the dryer down.
during my diagnosis I found the dryer belt still intact. tested the exhaust fuse with my multimeter and had no reading of continuity. bad fuse. exhaust pipe got too hot either from my clogged dryer vent or a bad thermistor sensor which controls and regulates the heat. tested customers thermistor for a proper ohm reading. customer's thermistor was reading 1600 ohms of resistance at room temperature. thermistor reading is supposed to be between 9,000 and 10,000 ohms at room temperature. customer had a bad thermistor.
had both parts on truck and was able to complete the repair same day. Job complete
GE Appliances Washer
customers complaint is during drain and spin cycle the washer starts shaking violently and making a "clanking" sound and the washer started leaking all over the floor.
I inspected the washer and found not only water puddled underneath the washer but transmission fluid mixed in as well. during the spin cycle the transmission was slipping and then making direct contact violently before slipping again during the spin cycle. it appears the seal on the transmission has gone bad allowing water from the tub to seep inside contaminating the transmission oil and stripping out the gears.
due to the age of the transmission has ceased itself due to corrosion to the main tub. this will need a new tub and transmission assembly # WH45X24615. reporting issues to customers warranty company
