Kenmore Dryer
During inspection, I removed the lower panel to check for any gas leaks. I started a “Normal” cycle and the unit operated normally. I used a soap solution on the gas valve and other components and found no leaks. Job completed. The unit maintained 135-145 degrees temperature through a 20-min cycle. I also used soap solution on the gas valve coming in behind the unit and the connection to the dryer itself. I still found no leaks. It is normal on these units to smell a slight smell of gas during ignition. This could also be an intermittent issue.
Kenmore Dryer
The technician assessed the Kenmore dryer, which was reported not starting. The circuit breaker was checked, and the dryer was unplugged for five minutes before being reconnected. The lint trap and exhaust tube were inspected to ensure they were not clogged. A basic repair was performed, utilizing two WPL 3392519 parts.
Acme Refrigerator
during my diagnosis of the refrigerator I noticed the unit was left unplugged. I tested the unit for an hour and a half to see if it would get down to temperature and it seemed to be cooling slowly but everything seemed to be okay. only time will tell.
Whirlpool Dryer
Installed new part and tests unit. No further issues found.
Job completed. ,During diagnostics, I found that the “Start” switch has shorted out. The unit will not operate at all.
Lg Dryer
technician replaced thermal fuse and advised customer of issue with the vent not being properly cleaned.
Lg,Frigidaire Washer,Dishwasher
I installed new inlet water valve assembly and tested the unit.
No further issues found.
Job completed.,Dishwasher-Upon arrival, customer told me the dishwasher started cleaning again. I went ahead and pulled out the filter assembly to inspect for clogging. Their was minimal amount of debris. I cleaned the filter assembly and the spray arms. No other issues found.
Washer-Found the unit was about 1/4 full of water on arrival. I found the inlet water valve assembly is leaking into the unit while it is off.
GE Dishwasher
During the inspection, I determined that the unit was not properly secured. The mounting bracket has come loose due to the wood it was fastened to splitting, which allowed the bracket to detach. As a result, the unit shifts when the door is opened. This movement is preventing the door from closing correctly. I informed the real estate agent that a carpenter will be required to repair the damaged wood supporting the dishwasher bracket. Once the bracket is properly resecured, the unit can be repaired. I was able to restore power and verify that the unit operates. The only remaining issue is that the lower spray arm has detached and was melted by the heating element. Replacement of the lower spray arm is the only part required. Photographs documenting the damage to the countertop have been attached. Installed new spray arm. Tested unit and found no further issues. Job completed.
GE Washer
I installed new parts and tested unit. I found no further issues.
Job completed.,During diagnostics, I found the PCB is faulty causing the door lock issue.
We will need to order the PCB.
GE Washer
The washer, a General Electric model, was reported with issues of not draining and not advancing through cycles. Upon inspection, the technician found that replacement parts GEH WH22X38697 and GEH WH11X29539 were necessary to resolve these problems. The technician, Tim Briggs, has completed the repairs, and the appliance is now functioning as intended.
Bosch,Whirlpool Cooktop,Microwave
Bosch Cooktop-I found that the two front igniters have cracked and are arcing improperly. The screws that hold down the top burner plates are rusted all the way through. Also, the unit will arc while not being used as well. Due to cost of repair, customer is going to purchase a new unit. Microwave-During testing, the unit made a loud “humming” noise and would not heat. I removed and disassembled the unit and found the high-voltage diode had shorted out. After install of the diode and testing, I found the door switch was starting to fail. Installed new parts and tested unit. No further issues found. Job completed.
Whirlpool DISHWASHER
customers complaint is that dishwasher wasn't draining appropriately. channel ball valve was worn and not sealing properly and that there was a leak at the tub as well along with a seal that was worn. dishwasher is over 20 years old and due to be replaced due to the issues and age. dishwasher going into replacement options.
Samsung MICROWAVE
microwave housing is damaged. recommended replacement.
