GE Washer
The technician, Tim Briggs, performed a diagnostic on a General Electric washer reported as not working. The customer expressed confusion, stating the appliance is a dishwasher, not a washer, and requested confirmation from the warranty company regarding the correct appliance identification. Services included 1 hour of diagnostic work and an additional hour of basic labor. The part used for the repair was GEH WD15X10014.
Maytag DRYER
customers complaint is that the door would not start during my diagnosis I found that the customer's door switch had shortened out. placed the door switch with the truck stop for a nice and same day repair and everything tested out okay.
Frigidaire Dryer,Washer
During inspection, I found the unit was making a growling sound and also a humming noise that was loud as the unit would spin.
I remove the front cover and found a small transmission leak. Also, the transmission is not allowing the agitator in inner wash basket to spin independently. The brake in the transmission is work. The drive motor is very hot and humming loud due to it being worn and the transmission put an excess stress on the motor. This is a 27-year old unit and will be costly to fix if the parts are even available.
AHS verified some of the parts are not available. They are going to replace the unit.

GE WALL OVEN
The customer reported that the wall oven unit throws an F1 error code and prematurely shuts off when reaching temperatures above 350 degrees. This issue is commonly associated with the main PCB control board. Following a diagnostic evaluation, it was determined that the customer requires a new PCB control board to resolve the issue. However, the part is currently marked as no longer available (NLA). I have removed the control board in preparation for a rebuild through the customer’s home warranty. Multiple service sessions were conducted, including diagnostics and labor totaling 4 hours. The necessary part has been booked for installation.
Samsung Washer
I found the unit unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit in and went into Diagnostic Mode. There were no codes in memory. I initiated a self-test. The unit made it through the test sequence with no issues.
I ran a “Quick” cycle and found the unit to be operating normally. The customer told me it would never get past 39-mins before.
Unplugging the unit more-than-likely reset the unit and cleared any codes if they were present.
I could not verify the customer's complaint.
Job completed.
