Whirlpool Range
During diagnostics, I was able to determine that the spark module for the oven has failed.
Custoner has decided to DIY the unit.
Job completed.
Whirlpool Refrigerator
During diagnostics, the unit was warming the freezer and refrigerator compartments. I was able to get the unit into service mode and force the compressor to come on. I let the compressor run for 5-mins before determining it was bad. The compressor got super hot to the touch and did not produce any cooling at all. Customer is going to purchase another unit. Job completed.
Samsung Dryer
PCB is back shorted and showing no part availability. also the display is receiving power but is not coming on. it appears both controls have shorted out. recommended replacement
Maytag DRYER
-Recall- customers plug came loose to their door switch. plugged it back in and made sure it was tight and tested unit and everything tested okay. Job complete
Frigidaire Range
customers complaint is that the unit would not come on at all. during my diagnosis, I found that the customer's PCP had shorted it out. Parts were supplied by AHS. I replaced the control and everything tested out okay. Job complete
Whirlpool Washer
During diagnostics, I found three different issues:
1. Control panel is randomly blinking on and off
2. Unit will not drain
3. Bearinf has failed. Inner tub is loose and running on the door boot.
Recommesning replacement due to extensive damage.
Bosch Dishwasher
Trip note from schedule #2: 1st- trip: customer is having a E09 error code on the display. error code is related to a malfunction from customers wash pump motor having a eternal heater shorted out. related information to AHS. customer's home warranty has decided to order part for repair.
2nd - installed new heat pump with the error code still persisting. tested continuity on the old heat pump and it was definitely shorted out. it appears that the heat pump back shorted when it went out into the control relay. We will need a new control module to resolve the issue fully. AHS is ordering a new control module.
3rd trip - PCB was no longer manufactured and AHS sent us a eBay part that was used. after installing the lights just kept flashing on the front and the dishwasher was now completely unoperable. recommended replacement on dishwasher.
Lg Refrigerator
During diagnostics, I found that the evap fan was hitting ice. I also found the drain hose was clogged and backed up. I removed the clog and advised customer of it happens again, we would have to remove the inside panels and test.
Job completed.
GE,Bosch MICROWAVE,DISHWASHER
Dishwasher-Upon arrival, I noticed the “Refill Jet Dry” light was on. Also, particulate filter was clogged and not clean. I advised the customer to make sure he is running his hot water-from the sink, until it is hot. I cleared the code and advised him to call back if it appears again.
Microwave-I checked and had power coming into the unit. The fuse was blown. Also, there is a lot of grease that has gotten onto the PCB and other components. I’m recommending a new PCB and fuse first.
Whirlpool Washer
Recall- customer called back and said washer was still making noise. during inspection I found the gears making perfect contact however the customer had a penny from their laundry pockets get caught in between main wash basket and wash plate. after removing the pocket change I tested the unit and found the flood pan underneath rubbing on the washers pulley system. the pan was warped upward. the flood pan seems to be the main culprit that caused the restriction on the pulley system causing the actuator motor to burn out from too much fiction. removed pan and tested the unit a second time and everything tested out okay. Job complete ,I diagnosed the Whirlpool washer, which was reported to have a gear skipping sound and issues with advancing through cycles and spinning. A diagnostic service was performed for 1 hour, followed by an additional hour of basic labor. The following parts were used: WPL W10721967 and WPL W10913953. The work was completed as noted in the job log.
Samsung Dryer
customers complaint is that the dryer would not spend properly and had a gap in the back due to the felt coming loose.
I replaced the customer's felt and found the support wheel completely worn and gone and replace that with the part on hand on the truck. Job complete
GE Dryer
Service was performed on a GE dryer that was not starting. Diagnostic testing was completed, along with one hour of basic labor. WPL 341241 was used during the service. customer had broken belt the engaged the belt switch shutting the dryer off permanently until the belt was replaced by the technician. Job complete
