Lg DRYER
Service performed on LG dryer reported not drying clothing. Technician Tim Briggs conducted a 1-hour diagnostic followed by an additional hour of basic labor. The issue identified was that the dryer was not heating up. One item, L-G 5301EL1001H, was used during the service. Job complete
Samsung Dryer
Service performed for a Samsung dryer with reported issue related to the other filter ring. A diagnostic was conducted for 1 hour, followed by an additional hour of basic labor. The part SAM DC97-16782A was used during the service. Tested unit and everything tested out okay. Job complete. The technician, Tim Briggs, conducted a thorough diagnostic on the Samsung dryer due to an issue with the other filter ring. The service included 1 hour of diagnostic work followed by 1 hour of basic labor to address the reported issue.
GE MICROWAVE
customers complaint is that the microwave is throwing a f3 error code. keypad and main control communication error. customer will need a new keypad and control board to resolve issues.
Bosch Dishwasher
Customers complaint is that the dishwasher was not spraying well.
During my diagnosis I found the customers filter clogged with debris. Cleaned out the filter and tested unit for proper spraying and everything tested out okay. Job complete
Samsung Microwave
customers complaint is that the door would not shut appropriately, door handle is broken and the microwave not heating any food during operation.
during my diagnosis I was able to seat the door appropriately for the magnetron to come on and when it came on it started shorting and arcing. to resolve all customers issues we would need a new magnetron-new door assembly. this is a low grade microwave. MSRP $275 brand new. it would cost more to fix it than to buy the microwave brand new.
recommending replacement. this would not be cost effective to repair.
Maytag Washer
During inspection, the customer said the unit is marking the clothes and they are finding black specks in the washer. This is due to buildup of detergent over time. The customer is using “Organic” detergent. These types of detergents have a greater degree of buildup along with fabric softeners. I recommended to the customer that he use vinegar and baking soda for at least 3-cycles to try and free up the remaining slug that builds up on the outer tub. Job completed.
Whirlpool Oven Range
Recalibrated Range and tested unit at 350 F and everything held temperature just fine. Job complete
Samsung DRYER
During diagnostics, found the heating element has shorted out.
I installed a new heating element and tested the unit with no further issues found.
Job completed.
Whirlpool Washer
During diagnostics, I found that the water inlet valve was sticking close, not allowing water to come in fast enough. After replacing the water inlet valve assembly, I tested the unit in the unit began to fill normally. However, the unit stopped, and the lid started clicking over and over again. The PCB ended up failing after the inlet valve install. at this point, the customer is just gonna purchase another unit.
Samsung Dryer
Found the thermal fuse I installed o. the last call failed. I installed a new thermal fuse. Tested unit and found no further issues.
During diagnostics, the unit would run, but. or heat. I found the L1 wire that was on the element had shorted. I was able to repair the wire. I tested the unit and found no further issues.
I recommended a vent cleaning be done due to the thermal fuse blowing out.
Job completed.
Samsung Washer
Service note for Samsung washer with reported issue of leaking water or oil. Technician Tim Briggs performed a diagnostic for 1 hour and completed basic labor for an additional hour. The part used was SAM DC97-17999N. customers complaint is that the washer was leaking. during my diagnosis I found the unit leaking near the drain pump assembly / drain hose line. ordering additional parts for repairs.
Lg Washer
During diagnostics, I was unable to find any codes while in Service Mode. I did however, find the filter assembly was fully clogged. I was able to clean the filter assembly and test.
No further issues found at this time. I did advise the customer to call back if the issue persists.
