Samsung WASHER
During diagnostics, I put the unit into Service Mode and found no codes. I then engaged self-test mode. The unit made it through the test with no issues. The unit drained and reached full spin during the test. I removed the drain filter and found no clogging at all. However, when I removed the cold water line on the back, the screen was clogged with debris. I cleaned the inlet filter and rested with no issues. I’m not certain that the clogged inlet filter is the issue. This is the first step in diagnosing. If the complaint still exists after repair, we will need to come back out. I’ve posted pics of the clogged inlet screen. Job completed.
Samsung Refrigerator
During diagnostics, I found that the icemaker and back panel were froze over. I was able to get into Service Mode and found that the fresh food fan has failed. However, I could not get the back panel removed because of ice build up. I told the customer the back panel and fan would have to be replaced and that I could not guarantee the issue would not arise again due to Samsung's bad design. I also informed him of the Class Action lawsuit that these refrigerators fall under. Due to the cost of the repair, the customer has decided to try and fix the unit hisself.
