customers complaint is at the dryer was taking too long to dry. during my inspection I found the dryer heating element coming on however the temperature was only getting up to about 120° when it is rated for 145°. this can be caused by air not being pulled through properly through the heating coils into the drum where the clothes get dried. I inspected the customers dryer vent outside and found one of dryer vent exhaust exit points 100% clogged. advised customer to get their dryer vent cleaned before moving forward with any other diagnostics.

Job complete, customer complaint is at the dryer would throw a d90 to the d80 error code. This is related to the thermistor in the dryer sensing that the dryer is getting too hot. Customer's dryer vent is obstructed and not blowing outside properly due to lint buildup. However, there is a possibility that the thermistor is either going bad, heating element shorting out or the high limit thermostat not regulating temperature properly. Due to the customer's warranty company, we are eliminating all possible causes for the customer by replacing all three additional parts. Customer is going to clean out the vent.

During diagnostics, I found I did not have 240v between L1 and L2 at the receptacle. This is going to be an electrical issue with the power coming in. Job completed.
Maytag Washer
During diagnostics, I found the unit to be unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit in and it immediately went to a drain cycle. This is indicating a bad PCB. This unit did not exhibit this issue on the previous visit. Custoker said this would be the 3rd PCB that would be replaced in th last year. That being said, I also recommended the wiring harness due to the PCB shorting out two other times. AHS is going to replace the unit due to past repair history. Job completed.
