Whirlpool Microwave
customers complaint is smelling a electrical burning smell when using the microwave. during my diagnosis of the customers microwave I had found that the magnetron was shorted out from improper voltage coming into it. also the capacitor was also compromised. due to the cost and the age of the unit I have recommended that the customer replace the microwave instead of repairing it.
Bosch Dishwasher
customers complaint is that the door has a dent in it, that the top spray arm is missing, dishwasher vibrating too much and making too much noise during wash.
during my diagnosis I noticed the cosmetic issues with the door having a dent in it and the top sprayer missing.
During my testing of the motor. it appears to be functioning as normal however it seems to be quite loud do to age.
this is a 20 plus year old Bosch dishwasher. issues have accumulated over time during usage.
Reported all findings to customers warranty company.
Whirlpool Microwave
GE Dryer
provided maintenance on the dryer with the customer and inspected the idler pulley system and drum and everything the same to test out okay. Job complete
Kitchenaid DISHWASHER
fixed customers leak by replacing diverter seal. tested for leaks and found no leaks. job complete
Whirlpool DISHWASHER
fixed wiring issue with dryer and everything tested out okay. Job complete
Lg Dryer
customer had an issue where the dryer would not heat. found the customer's thermal fuse had blown. replaced thermal fuse and advise customer to check their dryer vent for proper air flow
Kenmore Refrigerator
added 5-year filter to customers refrigerator and advise customer to fall out the air vents. job complete
Frigidaire Cooktop
I installed new induction power board. Tested unit and found no further issues.
Job completed.,During diagnostics, the units circuit breaker was off on arrival. As soon as the customer flipped the breaker, I heard a loud “pop” and saw an electrical spark underneath the glass top. Then there was smoke that came out from under the cooktop.
Both induction power boards shorted out.
Estimate has been approved through AHS with them getting the parts.
