GE Washer
During inspection, I put the unit into a “Drain & Spin” cycle. Once the unit started spinning, you can hear a loud screeching sound coming from underneath the unit. Once the unit went up in speed, you could hear a loud metallic noise that got louder with speed.
I looked under the unit and found oil has been leaking for sometime. The oil has gotten onto the belt and other components.
AHS is going to replace the unit due to cost of repair.

Lg DISHWASHER
customer mentioned that the dishwasher stopped mid cycle and would not drain. I found that their filter was missing and there were some foreign objects by the drain pump like a solid piece of glass and a piece of fiberglass. these foreign objects are supposed to be filtered away from the drain pump. advise customer to add the filter back in its natural place. tested unit and everything tested out okay. Job complete.
Kitchenaid WALL OVEN
fixed light issue and test unit and everything tested out okay. job complete
Kenmore Pro,Maytag WALL OVEN,DRYER
replace switch and tested unit for 350° and everything tested out okay. job complete, customers complaint is that the dryer was throwing a ventilation error code and the oven would beep a bunch during preheat and shut down. during my diagnosis I found a customer's dryer vent having obstruction which I removed, the selector switch on the oven or temperature on the left side was having a miscommunication between the main control board and the switch. most of the parts on this unit are no longer available. warranty has decided to replace the switch first before moving forward with other possible control issues.
Kitchenaid Dishwasher
replace drain pump and control and tested unit and everything tested out okay. job complete, Customer needs new controls, after installing the control boards. the unit stopped blinking and began a cycle however the drain pump would not run. after unplugging the drain pump to check power, water came out the drain pump socket. it appears the bearing seals to the customers drain pump motor has gone out and shorted the control board from the drain motor. the new control is now not sending proper voltage. 120V AC. We will need a new control and drain pump to fully resolve the issues for customer.

During testing, I found the upper ovens bake igniter has failed.
I installed a new bake igniter. I tested the unit and found no further issues.

fixed power issue with customers dishwasher and everything tested out okay. job complete
Amana Dishwasher
Installed new upper spray arm. Tested unit and found no further issues. During inspection, I found the lower spray arm has become unserviceable. The spray arm has deteriorated over time causing large holes. Also, the unit will not drain. Installed new drain pump and lower spray arm. I forgot to order the upper spray arm for the unit. The unit is working now, but we need to order the upper spray arm.
GE Washer
installed new control and tested unit and everything test is that okay. job complete,it was reported by another company that the customer needed a new control board however they have decided to use their home warranty to get this repaired to cover the cost. we are ordering the customer a new control board.
Kenmore,Whirlpool WASHER,DISHWASHER
customers complaint is that the dishwasher was not draining well and the dispenser was not opening along with the washing machine was not draining either. during my diagnosis I found the customer's drain pump motor on the washer was shorted out and I tested all the complaints and features of the dishwasher and could not duplicate any issues of any kind. test it all units on a short cycle and everything tested out okay. Job complete
Whirlpool,Samsung Washer,Microwave
plugged pressure switch hose back in. just unit and everything just about okay job complete.,customers complaint is the microwave did not have lighting from underneath and the washer would not cycle properly.
during my diagnosis I found the customers light burned out on the microwave and the control board pressure sensor shorted out. customers Home warranty does not cover routine maintenance items such as lights and water filters so I advise customer to purchase a new light for the microwave and repaired the washer. tested unit and everything tested out okay. Job complete.
Bosch Dishwasher
Installed a new drain pump and performed full operational testing. The unit is now functioning normally.

During inspection, I found the drain pump has failed.
We will need to order the pump.
