Kitchenaid Microwave Wall Oven Combo
During testing, I found several issues with this unit. Customer told me on arrival, the microwave has not worked for five years. I disassembled the unit and started testing. I found the microwave transformer has been humming and got really hot. This in turn has caused the PCB to get hot and short out. Also, door latch mechanism for the oven is faulting to “Locked” when the unit is not locked. The microwave door also is not secured shot and easily falls open. This will be a rebuild because of the age of the unit.

During inspection, found that the door is not being secured by the door locks. Also, the front touch panel has worn to the point you can’t see the touch button pads.
We need to replace all door switches and switch holders. Also need to replace the touch membrane.
Whirlpool Dishwasher,Washer
Maytag Washer
During inspection, I found the transmission to be leaking. The leak has compromised the electrical components underneath the unit (see attached pic). Also, all four dampeners are worn and need to be replaced.
Whirlpool Washer
replaced motor coupling on washer and tested the unit for proper spin and everything tested out okay.
Samsung Dishwasher
replaced drain pump and tested unit and everything tested out okay
Samsung Oven Range
replaced heating element and regulator switch and testing unit and everything tested out okay
Samsung Range
Installed new PCB and Bake igniter. Teated unit and found no further issues.
Job completed. ,During diagnostics, found the bake igniter has started to fail. Also, customer says the oven lock will randomly lock while the unit is not in use.
This is typical of a bad Oven Relay Board.
GE Washer
During testing, I found that the steel base has rusted all the way through causing the suspension to “rock” (see pictures). Customer complained about the last company that was out 4 times in the last 30-days (Assist Appliance) and were not happy with their service. Also, the cycle selector switch intermittently will work. AHS is going to replace the unit due to age and cost of the repair. Job completed.
Whirlpool Dishwasher
customers complaint is that the dishwasher would not drain. during my diagnosis I found the dishwasher emptied upon arrival. customer said that it drained last night and seemed to be working. I put the dishwasher into a diagnostic mode and ran all components for a testing phase. could not duplicate a non drainage issue. adviced customer that they had a 60 day call back with no service fee if it did come back again. Job complete
Bosch Dishwasher
the customer was experiencing an e25 error code on their dishwasher. during my diagnosis I found the cover not snapped in to the drain pump which is a culprit of this error code coming up. by then removed debris from the drain pump housing to stop any potential obstruction and tested unit and everything tested out okay. job complete
GE Dishwasher
During inspection, I found the pressure sensor was clogged with debris. I removed the clog and retested. The unit is operating normally.
