Whirlpool Dishwasher
During inspection, I could not verify the customers complaint of a leak. However, I did find both spray arms were clogged with debris. The filter has not been cleaned in some time.
I was able to clean out the spray arms. I told the customer that the spray arms not spinning can cause a leak. However, I couldn’t be sure if the leak was caused by the spray arms.
I advised the customer to call back if the issue persists. I also informed the customer that American Home Sheild would not cover any leaks that were caused by no maintenance.
Hotpoint Range
During inspection, found bake element had shorted out.
Installled new bake element and tested. No further issues found.
Job completed.
Whirlpool Dishwasher
During inspection, found that the unit is not hooked up according to manufacturer’s specs. The drain hose is actually going down through the flooring through the crawl space. I informed the customer the unit is not properly installed according to housing code. The customer needs to have a carpenter reinstall the unit properly.
Job complete.
Samsung Washer
During inspection, I found that ai could push the wash basket all the way down easily with my hand.
Dampners have failed.
Insatlled new dampners and tested unit. I found no further issues.
Job completed.
Whirlpool DRYER
during inspection, found that the tensioner is making the noise. I was able to oil the tensioner wheel and all the drum support rollers. Tested unit after repair. No further issues found.
Job completed.
Ge Profile Dryer
During diagnostics, the unit is not heating up. Found the heater element has shorted out. Also, I had no power coming from the PCB to the heater. The heater element has failed along with the PCB.
AHS is looking for the parts. It’s possible this unit might be replaced.
Samsung Range
customers complaint is that the range would not heat appropriately. tested the unit and found temperature hovering around 170 F at a pre-setting of 350 F
customers resistant reading is not being registered through the control board. also customer mentioned that the right burner is not regulating appropriately either. customer would need a new burner regulator switch.
at customer's request submitting Cash out options on repair through their home warranty.
Lg Refrigerator
customers complaint is that the ice maker was not making enough ice.
I began diagnostics by testing the customers temperature in the freezer. ice makers have a sensor on them and they will not operate if temperature is above 15 F.
temperature was 6° F. put ice maker and test mode and ice maker motor seized up. ice maker motor has shorted out. left estimate with customer. estimate is good for 30 days. Job complete
Lg Range
During testing, the oven light was “on” when I arrived. I found the door switch to be good. Customer said he has taken the main display board out to clean it because of “pests”.
I told him if pests had gotten on the board, then the board has shorted out.
Cuatomer has decided to repair the unit himself.
Job completed.
Samsung Dryer
Customers complaint is that the dryer would just keep running after the cycle ended.
I diagnosed the issue with the customer's dryer and found control board relay stuck. Freed up relay and tested unit and everything tested out okay. Job complete
Frigidaire Dryer
During inspection, found the dryer drum belt had failed. I installed a new dryer drum
belt and tested. I found no further issues.
Job completed.
Lg Refrigerator
customers complaint is that the refrigerator would not cool at all.
I begin diagnostics by inspecting customers evaporator coil. customers evaporator coil has no signs of proper coolant circulation. which is a sign of a sealed system issue between the customers compressor or evaporator coil leak. I did not tap into the customer's system.

customer has a 10-year warranty on the compressor. between manufacture day or purchase date they are still within manufacturer's warranty off the part and possibly the labor.
