During diagnostics, found two separate issues. 19-year old unit. 1. Unit will not heat. 2. Turntable is not operating. Found High-Voltage Diode was bad. All door switches tested good. Installed new diode and tested. Still no heat and turntable is not turning. This is a PCB issue.

Installed new door hinge and door boot. Tested unit on a quick cycle. No further issues found. During inspection, I found the door hinge pin has come out. This is causing improper alignment when the door is shut. The unit is also leaking because of damage to the door boot caused by the improper door alignment. Job completed.

During diagnostics, the unit is not heating up. Found the heater element has shorted out. Also, I had no power coming from the PCB to the heater. The heater element has failed along with the PCB. AHS is looking for the parts. It’s possible this unit might be replaced.
