During diagnostics, I found the diode had shorted out again. The connection to the capacitor was loose causing the short. Diode and capacitor replaced at no charge. Job completed. Installed new part and tests unit. No further issues found. customers complaint is that the washer had a smell to it along with a error code indicating a problem with incoming water. during my diagnosis I found the customers in the valve assembly clogged with sediment buildup. I cleaned it out and tested the unit and everything was testing out just fine. instructor customer on how to possibly get rid of smell. Job complete I installed new PCB and tested the unit. No further faults found. Service note for Samsung washer: The appliance was reported not finishing cycles. Technician Tim Briggs addressed the issue and used part SAM DC97-16350V during the service. customer's complaint is that there was a lot of suds coming out of the washing machine with water. customer switch to a new type of soap and also recently had some painters move the washer that might have forgotten to put the drain hose back in place. the product also is only 6 months old still under manufacturer's warranty which offers free repairs with a year. check the washer on a quick cycle all the way through and everything tested out okay. advised customer to use less soap. 4.9 out of 5 from 7 preserved local surveys.
