customers complaint is that the dryer was smoking and there was signs of sparking near the timer. turn my diagnosis I found some small areas of a small lint fire, the drum seal was completely torn away which was causing a small spark during spin and the dryer door switch was broken. I replaced the switch and drum seal and removed all the dryer lint. testing unit and the unit tested out okay. job complete
