Customer complaint: Not Working. Initial visit (Oct 20) — Mike S: Reported concern The customer reported an ongoing unbalance error code that recurred during operation. A previous service provider attempted to resolve the issue four times since March without success. Inspection revealed the original suspension dampers were still in place and appeared to have had grease applied in a prior attempt to extend their service life. Assessment During diagnostic checks, the wash basket depressed under minimal hand pressure, indicating that the suspension dampers were completely worn. Worn dampers fail to absorb tub movement during the cycle, resulting in excessive vibration that triggers the unbalance error code. Work performed Installed a new set of suspension dampers to restore proper tub support and stabilization. Following the repair, the washer was tested through operation and functioned correctly with no further balance issues. Parts installed: DC97-16350D DC97-16350T Suspension Rods X4 KIT ( USE BOUNCE BE GONE GREASE ). Outcome: Repaired.
