Dishwasher
Customer complaint: Not Coming On Customer: He said it is turning on. Water from the sink will sometimes enter the dishwasher when the garbage disposal is exchange. Initial visit (Oct 14) — Mike S: Reported concern The customer reported that the unit was leaking water onto the floor during operation. Assessment During cycle testing, the unit began oversudding. Excessive sudsing can cause foam and water to overflow the outer tub, which accounts for the reported leak onto the floor. Inspection of the door and tub seal revealed no visible damage or active leaks coming directly from the seal area, indicating the oversudding was the primary cause of the leak. Work performed Ran two consecutive quick cycles to thoroughly flush the remaining suds and detergent residue out of the unit. Next steps Advised the customer to monitor the appliance during future loads and to ensure the proper type and amount of detergent are used. The customer was instructed to contact service if any further leakage occurs. Water inlet valve: tested OK Spray arm: tested OK. Outcome: Repaired.
