Initial visit (Oct 14) — Mike S: Reported concern A diagnostic evaluation was requested to address washing machine operational and leakage issues. Assessment Inspection beneath the unit revealed a failed tub seal and bearing. This failure caused water to leak into the transmission and across surrounding components, including the rotor assembly. Water intrusion into these core mechanical and electrical drive parts causes severe operational degradation and component damage. Based on the extent of the damage, repair is not cost-effective under American Home Shield guidelines, and unit replacement is advised. Work performed Performed a diagnostic inspection to locate the leak source, evaluated the condition of the drive assembly and surrounding components, and finalized findings for unit replacement.
