Customer complaint: Leaking water, Not advancing through cycles. Initial visit (Oct 23) — Tim B: Reported concern Water from the garbage disposal was backing up into the customer's dishwasher. Assessment Inspection revealed that the drain hose was routed improperly, running downward from the garbage disposal into the dishwasher without the required high loop. This allowed wastewater from the disposal to drain back into the appliance. Additionally, a hole was identified in one of the fill hoses, which presents a leak risk during operation. Work performed Corrected the drain hose routing by elevating the hose above the level of the garbage disposal before connecting it down into the inlet, establishing a proper high loop to prevent backflow. I also cut back the hose that filled into the dishwasher and reattach the good piece to prevent any leak. A cleaning and testing phase was performed and everything tested out okay. Outcome: Repaired.
