Initial visit (Nov 5) — Mike S: Assessment The dryer is currently heating; however, the exhaust venting system is approximately 40% clogged. The installation features a particularly long vent duct run, which contributes to lint accumulation, restricts airflow, and can trigger system error codes or extended dry times. Work performed Cleared a manual accumulation of lint from the exterior vent exit flapper to help restore immediate exhaust flapper movement. Next steps Recommended that the customer engage a professional vent cleaning service to thoroughly clear the full length of the exhaust ductwork. Advised the customer to contact us for further service if any error codes persist after the professional vent cleaning is completed.
