Customer complaint: not heating. Initial visit (Oct 28) — Tim B: Assessment Diagnostic inspection revealed that the magnetron was not receiving proper voltage from the high-voltage capacitor. This operational failure appears to have subjected the magnetron to excessive strain, resulting in burnout and a back-short into the high-voltage diode. These component failures prevent the unit from generating heat. Next steps To restore proper heating operation, replacement of both the magnetron and the high-voltage diode is recommended.
