Return visit (Oct 28) — Mike S: Work performed Installed a replacement aftermarket drain pump assembly. During installation, the upper drain line did not fit the replacement pump outlet directly. The line connection was modified, secured, and sealed using a layer of weather stripping adhesive and wrapping to ensure the hose remains firmly attached during operation. Assessment The modified drain line connection requires adequate time for the adhesive sealant to cure completely to prevent potential water leaks or hose disconnection under pump pressure. Next steps Advised the customer to wait 24 hours before running the appliance to allow the adhesive to fully set and cure. Parts installed: DISCONTINUED. Outcome: Repaired.
