Maytag Washer
During testing, unit was unplugged on arrival. After plugging the unit in, the drain pump come on and ran continuously. This is an indication that the PCB is bad. Customer had actually purchased a PCB online and tried installing it himself. The issue still persisted, which is why he called us.
I found that PCB to be bad also. I told the customer, this was a common occurrence and that these units were not very good. customer is going to try to get a refund or another PCB and install it himself. I believe if that doesn’t work he’s going to end up purchasing another unit.

Samsung Dryer
Found heater element had shorted out. Installes new heater element. Tested unit and found no further issues.

Kitchenaid Refrigerator
During testing, found the condenser fan was not operating. Inhad no voltage coming to the fan from the PCB. I diagnosed a bad fan and PCB.
The PCB is no longer available for purchase. Only option was to rebuild. The cost of the rebuilt board and fan were more than the customer wanted to pay. She is going to purchase another unit.

Samsung Refrigerator
Suring testing, found internal temps were off by about 20 degrees in both compartments. Ice maker is also froze over due to temp fluctuations.
Comdensor coils were completely clogged. Compressor is pulling more amps due due the condenser coils being clogged. This in turn has worn the compressor. The evaporator fan has failed and the back refrigerator panel has ice build up from the bottom to the top.
Customer has decided to replace the unit due to the age and cost of repair and issues that typically our with this model down the road.

Kenmore Washer
During testing, I found that the lid lock switch had failed not allowing the unit to work.
I install a new lid lock switch and tested. The unit found no further issues.

Whirlpool Washer
During inspection, found the agitator could not be secured to the transmission because of the bolt being stripped out.
Due to age and cost, AHS is going to replace the unit.

Samsung Refrigerator
During testing, found that both compartments were warm to the touch. I removed the back panel and check power to the compressor. the power would come on and go directly off. I tested the cools on the compressor and found 12.6 ohms between all three pins. This is gonna be a bad inverter board.
Customer has decided to purchase a part himself.Job completed.
GE Washer
During inspection, I found that oil is leaking from the transmission all over the other components(see pic)
Customer is going to purchase another unit due to the cost of repair and the likely hood that this unit will break again soon.

Maytag WASHER

During diagnostics, The unit was unplugged on arrival. I plugged the unit in and try to start a cycle. The unit was not responsive at all. None of the power buttons work on the panel. This unit had a PCB replaced seven months ago, along with the wiring harness. I believe the issue is gonna be the touch panel display.
First American might replace it, but wasn’t sure. They said they would get back to us..
Samsung Dryer
During testing, I found that the heating element had shorted out. I installed a new heating element and tested the unit with no further issues found.

GE Microwave
During diagnostics, the unit would not power on when testing. This is a 23-year old unit. Grease has gotten into the major components and effectively shorted the PCB out.
AHS is going to replace the unit.

found that two of the burner plugs had shorted out.
replace both left rear and right front burner plugs.
tested unit and found no further issues.
