Maytag Dryer
During diagnostics, found that the belt tensioner pulley was locking up.
I installed a new pulley. I tested the unit and found no further issues.

Range-During testing, I found that the bake element has shorted out.
I installed a new bake element, tested the unit and found no further issues.

Dishwasher-During testing, I found the timer and circulation pump to be faulty. I’m recommending replacement due to the age of the appliance.

Whirlpool Dishwasher
During inspection, I could not verify the customers complaint of a leak. However, I did find both spray arms were clogged with debris. The filter has not been cleaned in some time.
I was able to clean out the spray arms. I told the customer that the spray arms not spinning can cause a leak. However, I couldn’t be sure if the leak was caused by the spray arms.
I advised the customer to call back if the issue persists. I also informed the customer that American Home Sheild would not cover any leaks that were caused by no maintenance.
Hotpoint Range
During inspection, found bake element had shorted out.
Installled new bake element and tested. No further issues found.

Whirlpool Dishwasher
During inspection, found that the unit is not hooked up according to manufacturer’s specs. The drain hose is actually going down through the flooring through the crawl space. I informed the customer the unit is not properly installed according to housing code. The customer needs to have a carpenter reinstall the unit properly.

Samsung Washer
During inspection, I found that ai could push the wash basket all the way down easily with my hand.
Dampners have failed.
Insatlled new dampners and tested unit. I found no further issues.

Whirlpool DRYER
during inspection, found that the tensioner is making the noise. I was able to oil the tensioner wheel and all the drum support rollers. Tested unit after repair. No further issues found.

Ge Profile Dryer
During diagnostics, the unit is not heating up. Found the heater element has shorted out. Also, I had no power coming from the PCB to the heater. The heater element has failed along with the PCB.
AHS is looking for the parts. It’s possible this unit might be replaced.
Lg Range
During testing, the oven light was “on” when I arrived. I found the door switch to be good. Customer said he has taken the main display board out to clean it because of “pests”.
I told him if pests had gotten on the board, then the board has shorted out.
Cuatomer has decided to repair the unit himself.

During inspection, found the dryer drum belt had failed. I installed a new dryer drum
belt and tested. I found no further issues.

During inspection, found that the drum belt has failed. I installed a new drum and tested the unit. I found no further issues.

Samsung Refrigerator
Suring inspection, I found the ice bucket is frozen solid and cannot be removed. I told the customer I would have to defrost the unit before I could remove it. I gave an estimate on cost of the ice maker and labor. I told him it would depend on how long it took me to defrost the unit to be able to gain access to the icemaker.
He asked about how much it would cost. After telling him an estimate, he decided to not fix the unit.
