Whirlpool Refrigerator
During diagnostics, the unit was warming the freezer and refrigerator compartments. I was able to get the unit into service mode and force the compressor to come on. I let the compressor run for 5-mins before determining it was bad. The compressor got super hot to the touch and did not produce any cooling at all. Customer is going to purchase another unit. Job completed.
Whirlpool Washer
During diagnostics, I found three different issues:
1. Control panel is randomly blinking on and off
2. Unit will not drain
3. Bearinf has failed. Inner tub is loose and running on the door boot.
Recommesning replacement due to extensive damage.
Lg Refrigerator
During diagnostics, I found that the evap fan was hitting ice. I also found the drain hose was clogged and backed up. I removed the clog and advised customer of it happens again, we would have to remove the inside panels and test.
Job completed.
GE,Bosch MICROWAVE,DISHWASHER
Dishwasher-Upon arrival, I noticed the “Refill Jet Dry” light was on. Also, particulate filter was clogged and not clean. I advised the customer to make sure he is running his hot water-from the sink, until it is hot. I cleared the code and advised him to call back if it appears again.
Microwave-I checked and had power coming into the unit. The fuse was blown. Also, there is a lot of grease that has gotten onto the PCB and other components. I’m recommending a new PCB and fuse first.
Whirlpool Washer
During diagnostics, the unit was unplugged when I got here. After plugging the unit back up, the unit automatically went into a drain cycle and would not stop. This is a very common issue with these units. Bad PCB.
I installed a new PCB and tested the unit. I found no further issues.
Job completed.
Ge Profile Range
Installed new PCB. I tested the oven to 350 degrees with no further issues found.
Job completed. During diagnostics, the oven control panel will not respond to touch. I was unable to set a cycle for the oven. Bad oven display board.
AHS is supplying the part.
After installing part, the panel was responsible to touch, but would not start a cycle. I checked power coming into the igniters on “Broil” and “Bake” and had no power to the igniters.
Faulty PCB.
05/14/25 AHS is going to reorder the part.
Bosch Microwave
During diagnostic, when selecting the vent fan to come on, no matter what the Speed, the vent fan exhibits a very loud growling noise. Bearings are worn in the vent fan. The customer bought this unit 18 months ago. I advised him to call Bosch to see if they would do something for him.
GE Dishwasher
During inspection, I find the unit was full of water on arrival. I was able to determine a clog in the line keeping the unit from draining. I removed the clog and retested. Unit is functioning normally. Job completed.
Whirlpool Washer
Installed new door hinge and door boot. Tested unit on a quick cycle. No further issues found.
During inspection, I found the door hinge pin has come out. This is causing improper alignment when the door is shut. The unit is also leaking because of damage to the door boot caused by the improper door alignment.
Job completed.
Kitchenaid Dishwasher
Insatlled all new parts. Tested unit and found no further issues.
Job completed. ,During diagnostics, I found that the units heating element has shorted out. This in turn has caused the lower spray arm to “hit” the element thereby damaging the lower spray arm.
Also, upper spray arm is not spinning correctly due to the mounting bracket being stripped.
GE Dishwasher
Parts were not correct. The timer assembly was not the right part. Also, the part for the soap dispenser was incorrect. AHS is going to replace the unit.
Job completed. During diagnostics, I found a leak coming from the R/S of the door. Also, the timer is starting to “stick” when selecting a cycle. The heater switches in the door are worn and not making contact. Rack on the bottom is rusted bad and staying the dishes. Soap dispenser is also faulty. The door on the soap dispenser will not stay closed.
I’m unable to find the parts for this unit. I’m recommending replacement unless AHS can get the parts.
AHS is going to try to find the parts.
Samsung Dishwasher
During inspection, found that the customer was using dishwashing soap instead of dishwasher detergent. This was causing an oversudding issue that caused the leak.
