Electrolux Microwave
Insatlled new components. I tested the unit and found it still was not heating. It started “humming” real loud after the capacitor and high-voltage diode replacement. I installed a new magnetron, and the unit started heating.
Job completed. During diagnostics, I found the display is not working at all. The light to the unit comes on when you open the door. However, the display panel will not respond to touch and does not light up. After installing the new display PCB, the unit powered up. I selected a “quick” cycle to test heating. The unit is not heating. This was not previously known because of the display board being faulty.
Capacitor and high-voltage diode needs to be replaced.
Whirlpool Refrigerator

Samsung Range
During diagnostics, I found the bake igniter has failed. I installed a new bake igniter and tested the unit. No further issues found.
Job completed.
Samsung Refrigerator
During diagnostics, I checked the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer.
Freezer 8 degrees
Refrigerator 41 degrees.
I found no issues with the evap fan or blend door. No frost build up in the freezer section. This is consistent with compressor failure. I informed the customer of the Class Action Lawsuit that Samsung is under right now do to their compressors prematurely failing.
Customer is going to contact Samsung.

GE Dishwasher
Installed new display board and tested the unit. I found no further issues. Job completed. During diagnostics, found the unit had power coming in, but would not power up. Found the PCB to be faulty. After installing the new PCB, I still had no power to the UI. I found that the UI was the initial issue that I failed to find. There is a short in the UI board. We will need to order a new UI board and put the PCB in stock.
Frigidaire Refrigerator
During inspection, I tried to fill a glass with water. The unit would “hum” but not deliver any water. I found that the water was turned off under the sink. After turning the water on, I again tried to fill a glass with water. The water started leaking inside and out onto the floor. I found the filter housing is cracked and creating the leak.
I told the tenant they would need to replace the water filter and that would remedy the issue. If not, call us back.

Whirlpool Dishwasher
Insatlled new PCB and tested with customer present. Unit is operating normally.
Job completed.,During diagnostics, I found that the unit would fill and drain, but would not circulate any water. I tested and found I had no power at the circulation pump. Bad PCB.
Lg Washer
Installed all new dampners. Reset and tested the unit and found no further issues.
Job completed. During diagnostics, I found I could push the tub done to the floor with my hand very easily. Dampners are worn out causing the imbalance issue.
Had to order the parts. couldn’t match a set that was on the truck.
GE Washer
During diagnostics, I found that the inlet water valve is leaking water. The bigger issue I found, was the transmission is leaking all over the belt. At that point, I told the customer the transmission would need to be replaced.
Customer is going to buy another unit.

Whirlpool Dishwasher
During diagnostics, I verified a leak coming from the pump/sump assembly.
We will need to replace the sump/pump assembly to remedy the leak.
AHS has approved the repair and supplying the part.
Amana Dryer
Installed new timer and verified operation. No further issues found.
Job completed. ,During diagnostics, The unit would run, but not heat. I removed the back panel and found the heating element and all thermostats and thermal fuses good.
Bad timer. ,This customer was double booked I guess. She was my last call yesterday. I’ve got “warranty ordering parts”.
Maytag Dryer
Installed new PCB. Tested unit and found no further issues.
Job completed. ,During diagnostics, I found the motor relay has shorted out on the PCB. We will need to repair the board and reschedule the customer.
