During inspection, I removed the lower panel to check for any gas leaks. I started a “Normal” cycle and the unit operated normally. I used a soap solution on the gas valve and other components and found no leaks. Job completed. The unit maintained 135-145 degrees temperature through a 20-min cycle. I also used soap solution on the gas valve coming in behind the unit and the connection to the dryer itself. I still found no leaks. It is normal on these units to smell a slight smell of gas during ignition. This could also be an intermittent issue.

Bosch Cooktop-I found that the two front igniters have cracked and are arcing improperly. The screws that hold down the top burner plates are rusted all the way through. Also, the unit will arc while not being used as well. Due to cost of repair, customer is going to purchase a new unit. Microwave-During testing, the unit made a loud “humming” noise and would not heat. I removed and disassembled the unit and found the high-voltage diode had shorted out. After install of the diode and testing, I found the door switch was starting to fail. Installed new parts and tested unit. No further issues found. Job completed.

During diagnostics, I found the “Bake” igniter was faulty. I installed new “Bake” igniter and tested unit to 350 degrees. No further issues found. Job completed.

During inspection, I found that the drain pump had come off allowing the leak. The pump was damaged by water and had to be replaced again under warranty. I installed new pump and tested. no further issues found. Job completed.

Installed new PCB and Bake igniter. Teated unit and found no further issues. Job completed. ,During diagnostics, found the bake igniter has started to fail. Also, customer says the oven lock will randomly lock while the unit is not in use. This is typical of a bad Oven Relay Board.
