Frigidaire Refrigerator
Frigidaire Refrigerator
Customer complaint: still not cooling in fridge. Initial visit (Nov 6) — Mike S: Assessment The unit was inspected for recurring frost buildup. Diagnostic checks revealed that the evaporator coil was completely frozen over, restricting proper airflow and temperature regulation. Testing of the defrost system components confirmed that both the defrost heating element and the defrost fuse are fully functional. Additionally, the drain line was inspected and confirmed clear of any blockages. Because the primary defrost components and drain are operating correctly, the recurring frost accumulation points to a failure within the control board failing to signal or manage the defrost cycle. Next steps Plan to replace the control board to restore automatic defrost operation. Per the agreed service plan, the replacement control board will be provided to the customer at cost.
