Customer complaint: Not drying, Running too long, Other LOOSING SCREWS DRUM. Initial visit (Nov 4) — Mike S: Reported concern The customer reported that the dryer is not heating adequately. Assessment During the physical inspection, two main issues were identified. First, an internal drum baffle has broken off and requires replacement to ensure proper tumbling. Second, the external exhaust ducting connected to the dryer is undersized compared to standard specification requirements, and the flexible transition hose was crushed against the back wall. Restricted airflow from undersized or collapsed venting directly causes poor heating performance and extended cycle times by preventing hot, moist air from properly exhausting from the cabinet. Next steps It is recommended to replace the broken drum baffle. Additionally, the customer was advised that properly sized, unrestricted exhaust ducting must be installed behind the unit to allow correct airflow and prevent ongoing heating problems.
