Maytag Washer
Customer complaint: Becomes unbalanced very easily and rocks the washer back-and-forth in the spin cycle. Initial visit (Nov 2) — Mike S: Assessment During diagnostic testing, the wash basket moved downward with minimal manual resistance. This condition indicates worn suspension dampeners, which fail to provide adequate tension and dampening. Worn dampeners impair the machine's ability to balance the load, leading to excessive vibration, noise, and potential off-balance errors during spin cycles. Next steps It is recommended to order replacement suspension dampeners. Confirm the exact component requirements and compatible part numbers prior to placing the order, then schedule a follow-up service call for installation.
