Customer complaint: Not Working. Initial visit (Oct 23) — Tim B: Work performed Upon initial inspection, the dryer's thermal fuse was found to be blown, interrupting the heating circuit. The blown thermal fuse was removed and replaced with a new component. Following the replacement, the unit was operated to monitor operating temperatures. Assessment During cycle testing, operating temperatures remained safe and did not exceed 200°F. Because the thermal fuse is rated to open at approximately 280°F, testing confirms the appliance is operating within normal thermal parameters and is not currently overheating. Next steps No further repairs are required at this time. To maintain proper airflow and prevent future thermal stress, regular cleaning of the home's external dryer vent line is recommended.
