Customer complaint: Recall: Kitchenaid Dishwasher. Turns on and the lights goes off. now the lights are not turning on anymore. Initial visit (Oct 20) — Tim B: During a replacement on the customer's control board I went to plug in the new control and found that the plug socket was not the same. I double check the model for the correct control board. It appears that this control board has changed and whirlpool says that this control board is a substitute that is supposed to work for the model still but it does not. This is a manufacturer flaw and due to the connections this cannot be repaired. This is non-repairable.
