Customer complaint: When we start the dryer, there’s a fairly loud rattling noise that seems to come near the back toward the bottom. We’ve had this dryer, not four years, and it has also not had a vent cleaning. Initial visit (Oct 14) — Tim B: Assessment The drum rollers, glides, and bearings were inspected and tested, with all components functioning normally. Inspection of the blower wheel identified heavy lint accumulation, which caused an imbalance and created excessive vibration during operation. Work performed Removed the lint buildup from the blower wheel assembly. Following the cleaning, the wheel was tested to verify proper balance and quiet operation, resolving the vibration issue.
